George Tsintsadze - EuroBasket 2013 Profile

Team 2012-13: Budivelnik Kyiv (Ukraine-Superleague)
Career: Academy (Georgia-Highest League, 2001-02); Basco Batumi (Georgia-Highest League, 2003); CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2003-04); Samara (Russia-Superleague 2004-05); Ural Great Perm (Russia-Superleague, 2005); Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2005-06); Tartu Rock (Estonia-EMKL, 2006-09); Trikala (Greece-ESAKE, 2009); BC Donetsk (Ukraine-Superleague, 2009-10); Trefl Sopot (Poland-PLK, 2010); Tartu Rock (Estonia-EMKL, 2010-11); Olimpi Tbilisi (Georgia-Superleague, 2012); Budivelnik Kyiv (Ukraine-Superleague, 2012-13)

George's career has been a rollercoaster. He was a promising prospect that was signed by CSKA Moscow, but then slightly lost his way before landing in Estonia where he helped lead Tartu to the Final Four of the Eurocup in 2008. He then moved to Greece, Poland and Ukraine, before returning to Tartu in 2010-11. Tsintsadze then went relatively unnoticed before popping up this season for Budivelnik in Ukraine, contributing 9.1 points with 4.2 assists as his team finished a great season in style by winning the Ukraine domestic championship. George was a key figure in Georgia's run at EuroBasket 2011, and with him around Coach Kokoskov has experience and a big guard in one package.
