Dynamo Moscow Region have decided against retaining the services of Tanel Tein with the Estonian guard having failed to live up to expectations.
Tein played in four EuroCup games but did not make an impact, and Dynamo coach Rutjanis Paulauskas told the club's official website: "We've provided all his requirements and fulfilled all the contract's terms.
"But you have to earn playing time and Tein didn't show his best form in any of the games he played, so we've decided to part company."
Dynamo Moscow Region go into Wednesday's game at DKV Joventut with three victories in four games in Europe.
They beat the Spanish outfit in the first encounter this season so a victory in Badalona will secure a first place finish in Group H.
