Tartu Rock had the better start in the game. Leppik and Vaskys made several points for the hosts (12-5). But EURAS came back just in time, so the first quarter ended only 21-17 for ROCK.
In the second quarter EURAS just couldn’t stop ROCK’s Martin Viiask and Silver Leppik who led ROCK ahead by 17 points (43-26). After a time-out EURAS played a full court press successfully and made it back to “only” 10 points for the break (51:41).
The Russians started better in the third quarter and kept it close, thanks to their guard Sergienko who scored one point after the other (52-47). But he got no help from his teammates. ROCK got the game back thanks to Marek Doronin and Martin Viiask.
In the last quarter EURAS made a lot of mistakes, trying to get a last chance, but ROCK kept the difference at 10 points and a victorious end 100-87 made Estonian spectators extremely happy.
