Wisla Can-Pack Krakow's bid to win the Polish title and return to the EuroLeague Women Final Four has suffered a major blow with the loss of Janell Burse to injury.
The American center, who played at the EuroLeague Women All-Star Game last season in Gdynia, averaged 10.8 points and 7.6 rebounds in eight European games this season.
The club heads into its last two games of the Qualifying Round with a 5-3 mark and in third place in Group A.
Meanwhile, Wisla have signed former EuroLeague Women All-Star Nicole Powell.
An explosive scorer, Powell has played for Fenerbahce, Halcon Avenida and CSKA Moscow in her time in Europe.
Last season at Fener, Powell, who is 28, shot 47.6% (39 of 82) from long range and averaged 15.8 points per contest.
Wisla are top of the Polish league (PLKK) with 13 wins and just one defeat.
