Another big effort from DeLisha Milton led Ros Casares to an 80-72 win over Wisla Can-Pack in the first game of their Eighth-Final play-off.

Milton scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Ros Casares came from behind in the final quarter to claim victory. Milton is averaging 20.6 points per game and 11.3 rebounds this season in the EuroLeague Women.

The hosts had led most of the way, but found themselves slip behind late in the third quarter when Dominique Canty made a lay-up to make it 59-58 in favour of Wisla.

But that did not last long as Erika De Souza grabbed the rebound from Milton's miss to score the first points of the final period and put the
Spaniards back in front.

Wisla led again when Jelena Skerovic made a lay-up and then a free throw, but de Souza tied it back up, and when Milton made a pair of free-throws to make it 64-62 to Ros Casares, the lead had changed hands for the final time.

Indeed, the hosts were just at the start of a 13-2 run which game them control of the game.

Dominique Canty made a three-pointer for Wisla with 25 seconds left that made it 78-72, but they got no closer.

De Souza finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the victors.

Wisla were led by 21 points from Anna De Forge and 19 from Skerovic.
