A late rush of points from Daliborka Vilipic saw Wisla Can-Pack emerge 75-67 winners over Famila Basket in a tense EuroLeague Women Group A encounter.

The Italian hosts looked to be heading for their first win of the competition having held a narrow lead for much of the game.

But a fourth-quarter fightback, including 13 points from center Vilipic, eventually turned the tie in Wisla's favour to improve their record to 5-4.

Famila were the better team in the first quarter and had a 22-21 advantage at the end of the period, although it could have been more had Penny Taylor not missed a three-pointer with 23 seconds left.

The lead then changed hands several times in the second period before Taylor made amends for her earlier miss making two-of-two free throws to give Famila a 36-34 edge at half-time.

Wisla hit back with a 12-0 run at the start of the third quarter, but scores from Federica Ciampoli and Elisabetta Moro brought Famila back into the game.

However, the Italians ran out of steam in the final 10 minutes, allowing Vilipic to take centre stage and seal the win for Wisla.

Vilipic finished with figures of 25 points and 10 rebounds for the Polish visitors, while Ciampoli's 14 points proved in vain for Famila.
