Wisla Can-Pack Krakow's EuroLeague Women campaign is back on track after an 88-71 triumph at K Cero ICB in Slovakia.
Beaten by Phard Napoli in their opener, Wisla rebounded in grand style with Anna De Forge pouring in a game-high 24 points on 10 of 13 shooting, including four of five from three-point range.
The visitors were nine of 18 from beyond the arc overall.
Also for the Krakow team, Jelena Skerovic had 19 points and Kara Liana Brown-Braxton weighed in with 17.
Wisla trailed 6-5 early in the first quarter when they reeled off eight straight points. It was an important spurt because they led for the remainder of the clash.
Once Wisla had the lead, De Forge was instrumental in pressing home the advantage.
She hit the home side with three first-half daggers.
Kelly Anne Mazzante's three-pointer for the Kosice team closed the gap to 20-15 with 1:16 to go in the first quarter, but De Forge immediately answered with a shot from the arc at the other end.
Midway through the second quarter, Tiffani Johnson's lay-up trimmed the Krakow team's lead to 34-28, but again De Forge quickly replied with a three-pointer for a nine-point lead.
To cap a magnificent opening 20 minutes, De Forge scored yet another three-pointer right before the half-time buzzer for a 47-32 advantage.
That gave De Forge 16 points, and the visitors kept a stranglehold on the contest the rest of the way.
