K Cero ICP Kosice's hopes of a revival in the EuroLeague Women may have died on Wednesday when the Slovakian team lost for the seventh straight game at Wisla Can-Pack Krakow.

Kara Liana Brown-Braxton poured in 18 points and pulled down 15 rebounds in a dominant display for the Polish outfit, who won 69-57.

Anna De Forge also weighed in with 16 points for the winners, who claimed victory for just the second time in the competition - both of the triumphs coming at the expense of Kosice.

With the scored level at 8-8 at the 6:20 mark of the opening quarter, the hosts went on a 15-6 surge for a 23-14 advantage.

Kosice pulled it back to 30-27, but they were unable to get it back to equal terms.

By half-time, the hosts had pushed their advantage back to seven at 38-31, and midway through the third quarter Wisla extended their lead to 54-36.

From that point on, it was clear there was only going to be one winner.

The visitors did manage to claw their  way to 65-55 with 2:10 remaining in the game, but they got no closer.

The result leaves Wisla Can-Pac Krakow with two wins and five defeats in Group C, while Kosice are left needing a major turnaround if they are to advance to the next stage of the competition.
