Team 2010-11: BC Donetsk (Ukraine-Superleague) Career: BC Kyiv (Ukraine-Superleague, 2000-11), BC Donetsk (Ukraine-Superleague, 2011)
There are few more experienced Ukrainian players than 34-year-old Oleg Saltovets who has been a perennial performer in European club competitions with BC Kyiv for a decade. However despite this, he has only ever stepped out for his country during a handful of relegation round games back in 2009, but could now be ready to finally make an impression in the twilight of his career with Coach Fratello impressed with his contributions during preparation. He has been named a Superleague All Star two times during the last three seasons and can provide some power in the paint. He knows what it takes to be successful, having won titles and also played at the EuroCup Final Four. |
