FIBA Europe League finalists BC Kyiv have signed Serbo-Montenegrin veteran Dragan Lukovski for the forthcoming campaign.

The 30-year-old Skopje-born guard spent last season with Greek outfit Makedonikos and averaged 11.8 points per contest in 14 domestic games.

His acquisition continues a trend at Ukraine Superleague champions Kyiv, where very experienced players like Marcelo Nicola, LaMarr Greer and Ioannis Giannoulis made the side one the best in in Europe.

Lukovski played for Pau Orthez when they won the 2002-03 and 2003-04 French titles and the 2002 and '03 national cups.

As a player for Yugoslavia, he captured gold at FIBA World Championship 1998 in Athens, and took bronze the following season at the Eurobasket.

This is Kyiv's second signing in the close season, with BC Sumykhimprom guard Artem Budskiy having joined earlier in the week.
