Tephen Hamilton (Azovmash) slamming on his debut for the Ukranian team
Azovmash Mariupol  take a step away from the bottom in the table of Group A, as they managed their second win against last BC Alita 79-58. The guests from Lithuania faced a strong home team, supported by over 2.000 visitors in the arena and fell behind with the first attack.

Azovmash showed maximum concentration over the whole game and so almost every quarter was similar to the others. The home team dominated the boards, collecting 54 rebounds while Alita only had 27. With this control over the ball the Ukranian team increased their lead in every quarter steadily by 6 or 7 points.

Overall they showed a great team performance with four players scoring in double digits. Especially new team member Tephen Hamilton made an excellent debut after joining the club just three days ago. He lead all players with 16 points and 7 rebounds.

The young team from Lithuania was missing the experience to keep this game close. But not only this match showed that most players of Alita should have a bright future in Europe. For now they stay at the very bottom of Group A.

MVP: Leonid Yaylo (Azovmash), with 15 points and 6 rebounds.
