Iscar Strauss Nahariya will try to end its 2 game losing streak in the FIBA Europe League tonight in its match-up against Ural Great Perm.
For Ural Great forward Sharon Shason, who last season played for Iscar Strauss, it will be the first game back in Nahariya after he left the club last summer.
In the first game between Ural Great and Nahariya in early November, Nahariya escaped with a 10-point win (76-86) while Shason contributed 14 points for the Russian team.
Still, Nahariya's losing streak in the FIBA Europe League is nothing compared to their situation in the Israeli League, where, for the first time in three years, they find themselves in last place.
For Ural Great, a Final Four participant in last year's FIBA Europe League, the situation is not much better. In the FEL they have only won two out of eight games so far, including an extremely disappointing loss at home against Braunschweig last week, while in the Russian league they are only ranked 8th with a 4-6 record.
In today's game, Nahariya will miss one of its key players in 2.01 forward Eric Campbell, who is averaging 16.5 points and 6.3 rebounds in FEL action this season.
The game will be broadcast live on Channel 5+ Sport station (Israel) at 18:45 local time.
