| 29.02.2012 EUROCHALLENGE The final day of the EuroChallenge Last 16 saw strong performances from a number of players, as various teams made that final push for a place in the Quarter-Final Round. Not every one of these players was rewarded for their effort of course, but there was one whose individual performance on Tuesday was very significant, despite the fact his team missed out on a spot in the last eight of the competition. Pinar Karsiyaka's 22-year-old Ilkan Karaman posted an impressive double-double with a season-high 18 points and 16 rebounds. The Turkish side lost at Artland Dragons and did not qualify, but the young power forward's performance was his best in a European club competition so far and can only be a very encouraging sign for the future. Karaman, who is on loan from Galatasaray Medical Park, reached an efficiency index rating of 31 to earn EuroChallenge Last 16 Week 6 MVP honours.
