Albacomp 103 vs. CAB Madeira 74

After a tough 2-point victory in Portugal against CAB Madeira, Hungarian side Albacomp Székesfehérvár beat Madeira 103-74 in the home leg and ensured a series win.

Albacomp wanted to decide the game as quickly as possible, but they had problems against a tough Madeira defense. Albacomp guard Jermaine Spivey, who had 27 points in the first game, was also having problems finding his offense. It was fellow guard Zoran Nisavic who stepped up for Albacomp and the home side took a 10-point lead into the first quarter break, 23-13.

CAB Madeira point guard, Bobby Joe Hatton was too strong for the Bakken Bears. He scored 24 points in a low scoring game.

Bakken Bears Ready For European Debut

Bakken Bears welcome Portuguese side CAB Madeira to Aarhus today for their first home game ever in European competition.

The 2 sides met 3 weeks ago in Portugal in what was Bakken's FIBA Europe Cup debut. Madeira dominated the first half of the game, but Bakken rallied and eventually won 88-82.

Keflavik welcome Portuguese Challenge

CAB Madeira have completed their long trip to Iceland for their FIBA Europe Cup Game against Keflavik this evening.

The Icelandic champions opened their campaign with a win over French side Reims, while Maderia dropped their opening game against Danish side Bakken Bears.
