Akasvayu Girona suffered a monumental, fourth-quarter collapse at home on Saturday to lose 74-71 to Pamesa Valencia.
Less than a week before their EuroCup Final Four clash against Estudiantes, Girona led 61-43 after three quarters with victory looking assured.
But Pamesa reeled off the first 13 points of the fourth quarter to give themselves a chance, and with Girona having added just two to their total, a Ruben Garces dunk gave the visitors a 64-63 lead with less than three minutes remaining.
Dainius Salenga restored a one-point lead for Girona, but Pamesa's other Ruben, former Climamio Bologna star Ruben Douglas, scored at the other end for Pamesa and they stayed in front for the remainder of the game.
Akasvayu are still fourth in the ACB, although DKV Joventut can equal their record of 18-10 on Sunday if they win at Caja San Fernando.
Real Madrid won for the 21st time in 28 games by prevailing 74-59 at Polaris World Murcia.
ViveMenorca were also winners, beating a visiting Alta Gestión Fuenlabrada 77-71.
