Elan Chalon remain on course for a truly amazing season.

The French high-fliers, who won the Semaine des As trophy and will next play Triumph Lyubertsy on Friday at the EuroChallenge Final Four, on Tuesday night advanced to the Coupe de France Final with an 83-79 victory over Cholet.

In the Final on 20 May at Bercy in Paris, holders Chalon will face Limoges - the team they beat in last year's Final.

Playing in front of their raucous fans on Tuesday evening, Chalon hit back from a 25-17 deficit at the end of the first quarter and scraped a narrow win.

Abdul Aminu had 20 points to lead Chalon, with Blake Schilb pouring in 17.

Malcolm Delaney, Bryant Smith, Ilian Evtimov and Steed Tchicamboud each had eight points and Joffrey Lauvergne seven.

Gregor Beugnot's outfit out-rebounded Cholet in the game, 38-31.

Eighteen of Chalon's rebounds came on the offensive glass.

Limoges continued their remarkable run in this season's competition with a 78-68 victory over Le Havre.

Chalon fans will be positively giddy about their team's prospects.

Not only are they still contending for honors in the EuroChallenge and Coupe de France, but also among the favorites to win the French domestic championship.

The EuroChallenge Final Four will be held in Debrecen, Hungary, with hosts Szolnoki Olaj squaring off against Besiktas in the other Semi-Final.
