USVO go into their Eighth-Finals match-up against CSKA Samara on a sour note after their 11-game domestic winning streak was halted over the weekend.

Laurent Buffard's side endured a 62-58 setback to Villeneuve in the French Feminine League.

Despite the loss, USVO (15-3) are still in first place, but only by the slimmest of margins.

Villeneuve and Bourges both have 14-4 records and are just one point behind USVO.

Evanthia Maltsi was the hero in Bourges' 81-62 triumph over Nice this past weekend.

Bourges host USO Mondeville in the EuroLeague Women Eighth-Finals this evening.

Hervé Coudray's women won their 12th game in France with a 75-53 victory over Mourenx.

Marie Ferndinard  had a solid all-around performance with 13 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and three steals.

Mondeville are in fourth place in France, which is important considering that the top four teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the Federation Cup.

Lattes-Montpellier and Pays D'Aix basket are just one game behind Mondeville.
