USO Mondeville face one of the biggest tests in women's basketball on Monday when they host the all-conquering Team USA at the Halle des Sports Pierre Beregovoy.
The US have been on an incredible gold medal run since their title at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 with triumphs in all of the Games and FIBA World Championships since.
The US are currently preparing for the FIBA World Championship for Women in Brazil later this year.
"The American federation contacted the French one a few months ago about their national team's Tour," explained Mondeville manager Cyrille Aubert on www.mondevillebasket.com.
"The federation and the Ligue asked the French clubs and we did not wait long to apply.
"The Americans responded to us quickly because at the time, we were leading the French league and we were also engaged in the EuroLeague."
This marks the beginning of Team USA's second European tour.
They completed their first tour on March 9, going 3-0 with victories over Lotos Gdynia (two) and MKB Euroleasing.
Mondeville were knocked out of the EuroLeague Women in the eighth-finals by last year's beaten finalists, Gambrinus Sika Brno.
Veterans Sheryl Swoopes and Katie Smith will be among those in the American team.
