Laura Macchi had 20 points and Raffaella Masciadri 18 as Beretta-Familia recorded a big 88-65 road win over Gospic Croatia in Group B of the EuroLeague Women.
Macchi burned the hosts by making five of eight shots from beyond the arc, while Masciadri took care of dominating inside, making six of eight (75%) from around the basket.
Gospic had jumped out to an early 9-0 lead, but were quickly reined back in by Beretta, although it took until Chiara Pastore's three-pointer, 21 seconds from the end of the first quarter, for them to take their first lead, 27-25.
Gospic hung around, and were back in front, 44-43, right before half time on a three-ball from Ivana Jurcevic.
The teams traded the lead, but when Audrey Sauret-Gillespie's jump-shot cancelled out a two-point Gospic advantage early in the second half, it sparked a 19-2 run that put Beretta in front for good.
Mudju Ngoyisa added 16 points for the victors, while Nicole Antibe had 13.
Jelena Ivezic led Gospic with 20, while Lamisha Augustine had 17, Jurcevic 11 and Carla Thomas 10.
