A true veteran who has experience playing at just about every level since the mid-nineties, Sandra Mandir has great quality and is a clutch shooter who is happy to be the deal breaker in tight games. She was one of the main players both at EuroBasket Women 2007 for the National Team and also last summer. She has just enjoyed one of the most productive seasons of her career with an impressive campaign in EuroLeague Women for Gospic. She averaged over 14 points and 5 rebounds a game while also coming up just short of 3 assists per game. She also showed her prowess from the arc, finishing as the fourth most deadly perimeter shooter in the competition. She is an Adriatic League All Star player who has won a handful of titles in Croatia at club level and now has fifteen years of experience playing in European club competition where she has regularly been a prolific scorer. Indeed her offensive production could have a big say in Croatia's fortunes. |
