Ray Weathers has left SC Azovmash after the American guard struggled to prove his fitness at the Ukrainian club.

Weathers has been hampered by a number of injuries this season and has now departed the FIBA Europe League quarter-finalists.

"Ray has continuous health problems, has missed training, and we decided to refuse his services," the club's head coach Rimas Girskis told Ukraine sports newspaper, Bolelshik.

Weathers' departure means Azovmash now have just one American player on their roster - Art Long.
