Dynamo Moscow Region lead Group B in the EuroCup with three wins in as many games but they almost lost in Belgium to a battling Spirou Charleroi on Tuesday.

Trailing 43-29 with 6:41 remaining in the third quarter after Nikita Morgunov's jump shot for Dynamo, the Belgians staged a terrific fightback that saw them close to 59-57 with 2:13 remaining in the contest.

But Dynamo held on to win 66-61.

Damir Krupalija, who finished with nine points and eight rebounds for the hosts, made a lay-up to cut the deficit to just two.

Charleroi then failed to get the rebound off a missed Morgunov three-pointer, with Dynamo's Joshua Davis instead coming away with the ball.

Shortly after, Audrius Giedraitis buried a jump shot for a 61-57 edge with 1:30 to go.

The home team's hopes effectively died on their next possession.

Ralph Nehimiah Biggs missed two free throws, and after grabbing the offensive board, Gregory Grays was off target with a three-pointer.

Grays has been shooting better than 42% from three-point range.

Dynamo didn't put the result beyond doubt because immediately after, Roderick Blakney turned the ball over.

However, Beye Tabu-Eboma missed with a shot from the arc and Davis rebounded.

Igor Zamansky and Giedraitis each sank two free throws in the last 13 seconds to seal the triumph for Dynamo.

The Belgian team will know their sub-standard shooting at the charity stripe cost them dear as they were just 14 of 25 (56%) for the game.

The visitors were 17 of 23 (73.9%) from the line.

Dimitri Jorssen poured in 15 points to pace Charleroi, who lost for the first time in Group B, in a losing cause.
