Dynamo Moscow Region were easy winners of the EuroCup Group B table-topping clash with Spirou Basket on Tuesday.

Spirou led 18-17 at the end of the first quarter and Amit Tamir's jump shot early in the second extended that advantage to 20-17.

Nikolai Padius' jump shot would level the scores at 21-21 and then he scored with a layup to give the Russians a lead they would not surrender and the hosts duly took the second quarter 19-9.

They had extended their lead to 56-40 by the end of the third and allowed only 12 points in the final period while registering 19 themselves.

Padius, with three from four inside the arc, two from downtown and three from four from the charity stripe, paced the victors with 15 points, four boards and three assists.

Nikita Morgunov (11) and Roderick Blakney (10) also made double digit contributions.

However, it was Amit Tamir's 17 points for Spirou that took game-high honours while Kris Sergeant's 14 points and five boards were also worth a mention in dispatches for the losers.

Damir Krupalja hauled down 10 boards for the visitors who slip to 4/1 while Dynamo improved to 5/1.
