Lokomotiv Rostov buried 17 three-pointers to thrash BC Sumykhimprom 99-72 in their Group C encounter on Tuesday in the EuroChallenge Regular Season opener for both sides.
Rostov went on a 15-0 run over a span of more than five minutes in the first quarter to lead 21-9 and they never looked back as Fred House scored 30 points.
House was a phenomenal six of seven (85.7%) from three-point range for Rostov in the game.
Seven other players for the home side made at least one shot from behind the arc.
One of them was Szymon Szewczyk. He was two of four from long range and finished with 17 points in just 14 minutes.
Rostov's biggest lead in the first half came less than a minute into the second quarter when Russia international Nikita Morgunov drilled a three for a 34-15 stranglehold on proceedings.
The advantage ballooned to 71-44 with 2:43 to go in the third quarter after Szewczyk made a jumper.
Linas Lekavicius finished with 17 points in defeat for Ukrainian outfit BC Sumykhimprom.
Rostov out-rebounded the visitors 43-32.
