Lokomotiv Rostov breathed life into their EuroChallenge Top 16 campaign with a thrilling 63-61 win over Cajasol Sevilla in the competition's only contest on Friday.
Cajasol had been looking for a sweep of road games in Russia after defeating Ural Great in Perm earlier in the week but they lost to drop to 1-2.
Group K opponents Ural Great and Lokomotiv are also 1-2 with Proteas EKA AEL flying high at 3-0.
Midway through the third quarter and the ACB outfit appeared to have the upper hand with a 42-37 advantage following a three-point play from Juan Jose Triguero.
Lokomotiv hit back with a vengeance, reeling off 15 straight points for a 52-42 lead.
Cajasol refused to cave in and twice closed the gap to one in the fourth quarter, only for Lokomotiv to stay in front.
They also pulled to within 58-56 with 4:19 to go after a Dusko Savanovic jump shot, only for House to respond at the other end with a three-ball.
Once again, Cajasol cut the deficit to two at 61-59 with 2:07 remaining after Triguero split a pair of free throws.
Aleksandar Capin then missed from long range for Lokomotiv, giving Cajasol an opportunity to draw level or go in front with a three but Triguero's jumper was off target and Capin grabbed the rebound.
After House buried a jump shot for a 63-59 lead, Cajasol called timeout and Triguero dunked with 11 seconds to go to again make a two-point advantage for Rostov.
Lokomotiv called a timeout to discuss their strategy and when play resumed, neither side scored again.
Capin had 15 points to lead Lokomotiv, who made nine of 27 shots from long range compared to just four of 23 for Cajasol.
Triguero poured in a game-high 16 for Cajasol.
