Dynamo Moscow Region enjoyed a convincing start to their EuroCup Group B campaign with a 76-54 triumph over BC Barons in Riga.
The match was evenly-poised towards the end of the first half with Dynamo leading just 23-21 with little over three minutes of the second period remaining.
But Dynamo stepped up a gear both offensively and defensively after that to blitz their Latvian opponents with 12-0 run that helped the visitors build a 35-22 half-time advantage.
That seemed to knock the fight out of Barons as the second half was one-way traffic, with Dynamo totally in control.
The Russian side shared things around with three players finishing with 11 points - Giedrius Gustas, Nikita Morgunov and Roderick Blakney - and Nikolai Padius adding 10 points and seven rebounds.
For Barons, Kaspars Berzins scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Alton Mason added 12 points, two rebounds and three assists.
