Jaime Lloreda is not only wreaking havoc for Lokomotiv-Rostov in the EuroCup.
The Panamanian international, who is pouring in 18.8 points and pulling down 11.6 rebounds per game in Europe, has been equally impressive in Russia's top flight.
And his contributions in the Superleague have been timely, with coach Aco Petrovic missing players through injury.
Injuries nearly cost Lokomotiv in their recent game against Spartak St Petersburg, but Lloreda scored 31 points and hauled down 15 rebounds to fire the team to an 89-77 triumph.
"We have many injured players," Petrovic said.
"There were only three Russian players in the team who had played for the team before - (Evgeny) Voronov, (Konstantin) Nesterov and (Dmitry) Sokolov - but there must be at least two Russian players constantly during a game.
"We played well in the first quarter, but our defence wasn't up to scratch in the second.
"Then Lloreda started to play brilliantly."
Lloreda did the same on Tuesday in the EuroCup when BC Barons were threatening an upset.
He scored nine consecutive points to give Lokomotiv a 60-47 advantage, and that spurt propelled his team to a 76-68 victory.
Some teams have bigger squads and are able to cope with the demands of both domestic and European basketball.
That is not the case for Lokomotiv.
"It's difficult to play for us in two tournaments simultaneously, and that's why we have some injuries," Petrovic said.
One thing is for certain. Lloreda & Co will have the demands of European basketball for a while longer because they have won all five of their games in Group G to seal their place in Round II.
