Eva Nemcova led the Czech Republic to victory over Romania as both sides continued their preparations for the EuroBasket Women to be staged next month in Turkey.
Nemcova poured in 17 points in Tuesday's triumph in Istanbul.
Czech boss Jan Bobrovsky said: "Romania played zone defence during the game and we had a few problems adapting to it at the start of second half.
"But we dominated the game in the first quarter and in the end."
The Czechs jumped out to a 22-15 lead and extended the advantage to 48-29 by half-time.
But the zone allowed Romania to claw their way back and they trailed only 58-51 with 10 minutes to play.
Bobrovsky's players eventually pulled away.
The Czechs will be looking to go one better in this year's EuroBasket after narrowly missing out on the gold in 2003.
Nemcova and Co take on Germany on Wednesday.
