Universitat FC Barcelona extended their unbeaten record to 4 straight in the EuroLeague Women after their 62:92 away win over Italian side CariChieti.

Barcelona used a key 3rd quarter run and some red hot 3-point shooting to take command of the game and secure victory.

After a close 1st quarter, Barcelona gradually constructed a lead which reached 12 points by the end of the 1st half.

After just 3 minutes of the 3rd quarter action, the lead had ballooned to 21 points (37:58) thanks to Barcelona's long range accuracy. Sandra Gallego (3/6 3-pointers), Andrea Congreaves (3/4) and Maria Rovira (2/2) were particularly effective from behind the arc.

The 3rd period ended 47:76 in favour of the visitors, and Barcelona did just enough in the 4th to close the game with an easy victory.

5 Barcelona players scored in double figures, led by 206 cm center Silvia Mesa who had 18 points and 9 rebounds, easily her best game so far this season in Europe.

Czech forward Eva Nemcova led CariChieti with 14 points and 7 rebounds.

Game-MVP: Razija Brcaninovic
