Team 2010-11: Barcelona (Spain-ACB) Career: Beopetrol Belgrade (Serbia-B 2000-02), Partizan Belgrade (Serbia-Superleague 2002-07), Golden State Warriors (NBA, 2007-08), Valencia (Spain-Liga ACB, 2008-10), Barcelona (Spain-ACB, 2010-11)
Kosta Perovic provides a valuable back-up coming off the bench in the five spot for Serbia and during the last couple of tournaments has produced some impressive cameo performances. While he never made the cut in the NBA during his time with the Golden State Warriors, he has carved out a career in the Spanish league with Valencia and also at Barcelona where he played last season. Perhaps let down a little by his lack of speed, he is still quite agile for his height and has a good awareness of his team-mates on the floor. He can rebound well and is also adept at finishing around the hoop. After a fairly good season in Euroleague in particular he should have confidence and consequently do a decent job again with the National Team this summer. |
