Guy Pnini - EuroBasket 2013 Profile

Team 2012-13: Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv (Israel-BSL)
Career: Maccabi Ra'anana (Israel-D1, 2001-02); Bnei Hasharon (Israel-BSL, 2002-06); Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem (Israel-BSL, 2006-08); FMP Zeleznik (Serbia-BLS, 2008); Keravnos Strovolou (Cyprus-A, 2009); Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv (Israel-BSL, 2009-13)

In his fourth consecutive EuroBasket, Pnini returns to where he gets a chance to show his full set of skills. In 2011 he was the second-best scorer of Israel with 13.2 points-per-game, and while with Maccabi Tel Aviv his role is the one of a specialist, when he puts on his national team uniform, Pnini gets more opportunities to showcase his full value. A highly competitive player who thrives on a challenge, he has just completed his fourth season with Maccabi. Pnini is the most loved player when he is on your team and the most hated when playing for your opponent. He is a nightmare for any player he is assigned to, but can also be a threat on offence with his outside shot. Pnini lives on challenges, and if there is a clutch shot required, he will find the way to make it.
