Roundup: King To Stay With Bonn

02 August 2010

Telekom Baskets Bonn fans who were worried about the player exodus this summer have been boosted by the news that Alex King is to remain with the team for their EuroChallenge campaign this season.

Artus Kolodziejski and Johannes Strasser have both left for Munich and Artland respectively, and King had been expected to go too.

But the team confirmed he has signed a new contract and is now expected to takeover extra responsibility from the departed players.

Last season, King averaged 4.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in EurocCup action.

Meanwhile, Dexia Mons-Hainaut have re-signed American Justin Cage.

Cage averaged 10.1 points and 3.9 rebounds last season, and is so far the sole player from last year's roster to be re-signed.

Wallace Joins Gran Canaria Makeover

A busy summer shows no sign of slowing down at Gran Canaria, where Judson Wallace has become the latest signing ahead of the EuroCup campaign.

The American forward joins from Benetton Treviso, where he averaged 9.1 points and 7.2 rebounds in league action last year, while also averaging 9.6 points and 5.7 rebounds in the Eurocup.

The 27-year-old has previously played with Capo d'Orlando and Esibaeren Bremerhaven.
