Dynamo Moscow Coach Dusan Ivkovic knew what he was doing when he signed this young playmaker for his star-packed team.  Popovic has been posting excellent numbers for two seasons in the ULEB Cup and continued to play well after making the move to the Euroleague. Popovic is a merciless warrior who makes no compromises on the court and is a product of the renowned Zeleznik basketball school. The Beograd native is an excellent defender and hustler, but not a lethal scorer. However, his mental toughness makes him the perfect backup point guard who provides energetic defence, playmaking and the occasional offensive spark. Popovic has one year of experience with the National Team. His biggest rivals for getting one of the final roster spots will be against Milos Vujanic, Vule Avdalovic and Marko Marinovic.
