Wales and Malta will battle it out for fifth place at the U16 European Championship for Men Division C after winning Thursday's qualifying games.
Wales cruised to an 89-43 rout against Gibraltar as Jacob Lloyd scored 22 points and Sumiullah Khan added 21 and 13 rebounds.
The first quarter ended level but Wales dominated the second and third period, outscoring their opponents 29-7 in each to take complete control.
Adrian Bado led the Gibraltar resistance with 15 points.
Malta topped the Principality of Monaco 62-37 as Aaron Falzon exploded for 32 points and 24 rebounds.
Malta led 21-7 at the end of the first quarter and 37-14 by half-time.
Wales and Malta will play each other on Saturday to determine fifth place, while Gibraltar and the Principality of Monaco will go into Friday's seventh and eighth place playoff.
