France showed off their title ambitions by demolishing Lithuania 95-56 on the second day the UMCOR U18 European Championship for Women in Novi Sad.
Les Bleues surged into a 53-26 half-time lead after outscoring the Baltic country 25-8 in
the second quarter.

Lithuania limited their opponents to just five points in the first five minutes of the third quarter but the French soon regained their lethal touch in attack and scored 27 points in the final quarter.
Point guard Sarah Michel led the French in scoring with 19 points on eight of nine shooting from the field.
"I think we have proved in our first two games that we mean business," said Michel.
"We have a very strong team this year and our aim is to clinch gold. We are playing very well and we have great chemistry in our group which is the secret to our results."
Lithuania were a woeful two of 11 from three-point range (18.1%) and were outrebounded 48-30.
In the other group game, Russia beat Bulgaria,73-51. Despite trailing for the entire first quarter, Russia recovered and went into the break with a 44-35 lead.
Bulgaria's deficit grew to 55-37, but they battled back to trail by nine points early in the fourth quarter. Russia, however, stood strong and pulled away for the win.
Bulgarian guard Stanislava Stankova had a game-high 15 points in defeat.
It was however, a team effort for the Russians as they had four players finish with 12 points apiece.
