Russia Win Youth Prize

Russia's U20 national youth team have won the Basketball Federation of Russia (BFR) Cup in Chekhov.

Russia beat Greece 84-65, Turkey 78-55, and the Czech Republic 81-68, on their way to securing the title. Greece took second place, with Turkey in third.

Russia coach Eugeni Pashutin told the official BFR web-site: "The tournament was organised at high level and became a good rehearsal for our team before the European Championship which will start in Chekhov on July 8."
