The unsung hero of the Eurocup championship-winning Khimki squad last season, Vyaltsev is an extremely reliable warrior who fights for his team until the very last second of the game. He always likes to admit he's ready to do anything to help his team win. This attitude transforms into the player's manner of desperation on defence. Complemented by his ability to hit a corner three, the Khimki shooting guard can be a great help off the bench for any team. Last season, Vyaltsev averaged 6.3 points in the VTB League, where Khimki reached finals, and also helped the club to lift the Eurocup averaging 7.7 points. Vyaltsev has not appeared on the big national team stage since EuroBasket 2009, where Russia finished in 7th spot.
