| 04.07.2007 Unbeaten Serbia showed no signs of slowing down as they claimed a 69-47 triumph over Turkey in Wednesday's qualifying round at the UMCOR U18 European Championship for Women.
Serbian guard Nina Bogicevic had a game-high 14 points while she also pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out five assists.
The host nation stormed out to a 32-9 lead and went into the break with a 40-16 advantage.
The Turks showed some signs of revival but were still outscored 15-13 over the next 10 minutes.
Serbia had a better evening shooting the balls than their rivals, as they were 28 of 58 (48.2%) from the floor while Turkey were a mere 16 of 73 (21.9%).
Durdane Gumusay had a team high 10 points in defeat.
