Turkey out-scored Italy 13-2 over the final seven minutes in grabbing a 67-58 victory and remaining perfect at the U20 European Championship for Women.

Yasemen Saylar had 21 points, five rebounds and five assists while Safiye Karaman scored 14 points for Turkey, who improved to 3-0 in Group F.

Tugce Canitez grabbed 11 rebounds and Esra Ural added nine points and 10 rebounds.

Federica Tognalini had 13 points and nine rebounds while Laura Spreafico and Oriana Milazzo each scored 10 points for the Italians, who dropped to 0-3 in the group.

Turkey opened the first mini-lead of the game moving ahead by seven points after three ties. And the Turks were ahead 18-17 after one period.

The fight was on, though, as the biggest lead of the second quarter was five points and there were seven lead changes and three ties with the game knotted at 37-37 at the break.

Turkey opened the second half on an 11-2 run to build a 48-39 lead. The Italians answered with a 9-2 run and Turkey led just 52-50 after three quarters.

Milazzo nailed two three-pointers early in the fourth quarter to give Italy a 56-54 lead. But the Turks would only allow one basket the rest of the way in a 13-2 run.
