Having made her EuroBasket Women debut as an 18-year-old in 2007 in Italy where she played over 15 minutes per game, the forward once billed as ‘the next big thing' by Coach Yilizoglu will participate in her third major tournament with time still on her side to increase her impact. She has already shown she is capable of delivering against the hype, especially after a great Qualifying Round where she produced some of her best numbers and performances in a National Team vest. She posted one particularly memorable double-double against Finland and again showed her inside presence and skill set as well as her ability to step outside and drop a bomb on opposing defences. Caglar is an all-round versatile player and huge talent who has won a EuroCup Women title and played in EuroLeague Women with Galatasaray. She also played at four U20 European Championship Women tournaments between 2005 and 2008.
