Another dominant display from Dario Saric gave Croatia a 78-62 win over Turkey on Monday to maintain a perfect record at the Samsung U18 European Championship.
After picking up nine points in the opening half, Saric cut loose following the break, going on to finish the night with 26 points and 10 rebounds, leaving little doubt as to just how much he means to Croatia's hopes at this tournament.
By successfully neutralising Saric in the opening half, Turkey were able to go into half-time with a four-point lead.
However, in the third quarter, Turkey's defences on Saric broke down as the forward cut loose, scoring 11 points in the frame to put Croatia in front by four points going into the deciding quarter.
With their tails up, Croatia could not be stopped in the final frame, hitting all of their shots inside the perimeter to finish with a victory that appeared more convincing than reality would suggest.
Jakov Mustapic assisted Saric with 16 points and seven rebounds whilst Mislav Brzoja added 14 points.
Burak Yildizli finished as Turkey's best scorer with 15 points.
On Tuesday, Turkey will come up against Slovenia whilst Croatia look to keep their perfect record intact when they take on co-hosts Latvia.
