Unbeaten Spain In Charge Against Sweden



Defending champions Spain remained undefeated in the U18 European Championship Women 2010 in Slovakia after collecting their first Qualifying Round win 50-38 against Sweden.

Both teams were poor in shooting with Sweden making none of their 12 three point goal attempts.

Queralt Casas led the winning side with 12 points and 7 rebounds.

Sweden scored only six points in the first half while Spain enjoyed a 11-2 run that gave them a 26-14 halftime lead.

Spain then kept controlling the game until the final whistle and recorded their fourth victory in the tournament.
