Thomas MASSAMBA - EuroBasket 2013 Profile
Team 2012-13: Lukoil Academic (Bulgaria-D1)
Career: Linköping (Sweden, Youth level); Södertälje Kings (Sweden-Basketligan, 2004- 05); Solna Vikings (Sweden-Basketligan, 2005-06); 08 Stockholm (Sweden-Basketligan, 2006-07); Södertälje Kings (Sweden-Basketligan, 2007-09); 08 Stockholm (Sweden-Basketligan, 2009-10); ETHA Engomi (Cyprus-Division A, 2010-12)

Thomas Massamba has always been a very solid defender utilising his extreme physical abilities in every possible way. He is a poster boy for the old saying "defence wins championships". He has won championships in every country he has played in and he has played in the championship finals for three different Swedish clubs. For every year gone by, Thomas has also added to his offensive capabilities. He has added a reasonably reliable three-point shot to his arsenal and his extreme quickness and leaping ability has always let him get to the rack. Now he makes better decisions, realises his limitations better and has fewer and fewer turnovers every year. In the qualifying campaign to EuroBasket 2013 only Jonas Jerebko played more minutes than Massamba.
