Portugal set up a semi-final date with the Czech Republic at the U20 European Championship Women Division B as they edged out Israel 60-54.
Portugal pulled away late on after Israel had closed to within three, 51-48, with under four minutes to go.
A quick spurt had them up 56-48 with 1:24 to go and there was no way back for Israel.
Michelle Brandao led Portugal with 16 points while Daniela Domingues had 12 and 16 rebounds.
The Czechs advanced with a somewhat more straightforward 67-42 thrashing of Bulgaria, taking a huge early lead and never looking back.
They used a balanced attack, with only two players scoring in double figures as Petra Zaplatova collected 11 points and Andrea Sladkova 10.
Sweden and Greece will contest the other semi-final.
Sweden routed Belgium 74-47 behind 22 points from Farhiya Abdi and 12 points, 12 rebonds and five assists from Cleopatra Forsman-Goga.
Noemie Mayombo led Belgium with 16 points.
Greece had trailed at half-time to Hungary, but used a big third-quarter - in which they outscored their opponents 15-7 - to secure a 55-48 victory.
Anthoula Chatzigiakoumi led the way with 22 points.
Anna Mansare led Hungary's resistance with 16 points and eight rebounds.
In the classification round for 9th to 11th place, Austria added to the woes of winless hosts FYR of Macedonia with a 76-59 victory, fuelled by 18 points from Julia Koppl.
