Jonas Jerebko is one of those players who confirm how difficult it is to predict the future. Jonas was not picked to play for Sweden until he was 18. Yet he became the first Swedish player to go to the NBA. Jonas had a sensational rookie year in the NBA when he started 73 of the 80 games he played in for the Detroit Pistons. He then tore his Achilles tendon before season number two and had to endure a year of rehab. He came back strong and had a nice season for the Pistons and led Sweden in most major statistical categories in the qualification to EuroBasket 2013. Jonas is a multifaceted player who always plays with a tonne of energy. He takes pride in his defence and willingness to do the small and dirty work as well as excelling on offence. Jerebko will be the man Sweden turns to when in need of big plays.
