Ivan Bodrogvary presents the MVP award to Italys Cecilia Zandalasini
Italy's Cecilia Zandalasini was voted MVP of the 2012 U16 European Championship Women.

Italy's Cecilia Zandalasini was voted, for the second year in a row, into the All Tournament Team of the U16 European Championship Women, but this time she also earned MVP honours.

The 16 head coaches present in Miskolc voted on the MVP as well as on the All Tournament Team, leaving no doubt about Zandalasini's impact in the competition.

The Italian forward averaged 14.7 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists, leading her team to the silver medal.

Sweden were presented the Fair Play Award for their extraordinary sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

The following players, all having played with their teams in the Semi-Finals, were named to the All Tournament Team:

Ksenia Levcheko (Russia), Angela Salvadores (Spain), Cecilia Zandalasini (Italy), Daria Kolosovskaya (Russia) and Kyara Linskens (Belgium).
