When play resumed, the Spanish delivered a knockout punch by outscoring their opponents 26-3.

That run, which spanned the first seven minutes of the third quarter, all but sealed victory.

Leonor Rodriguez had a game high 21 points for the victors while teammate Vega Gimeno weighed in with 16.

Serbia endured an almighty struggle from shooting the ball, missing all 20 of their attempts from three-point range.

Inside the arc, they were 15 of 37 (40.5%).

Spain will go into the next phase of the competition as one of the only two sides in Södertälje that has yet to lose.

Group F winners France are also 5-0.

The Serbians lost for just the second time in five games and still progressed to the Quarter-Final Round.
