Pau Gasol admits he faces a battle between club and country as he decides whether or not to participate in this summer's European Championships.
The second half of Gasol's season was interrupted by a foot injury, which could have led to a stress fracture.

However, it was deemed that Gasol did not need surgery to rectify the problem but his club, the Memphis Grizzlies, want their player to rest over the summer in order to avoid further problems in the future.
With Spain among the favourites to lift the European Championship crown and Gasol undoubtedly one of the pillars of Mario Pesquera's side, he has been placed in a very difficult situation.
"At the moment, I am recharging my batteries," he told his official website www.paugasol.com.
"It is time to make a decision on whether or not I will participate in Belgrade and there is nothing I would like more than to go there, because anyone who knows me knows how proud I would be to go there and represent my country.
"However, there is a lot of pressure coming from Memphis and, after the injury I suffered, they have recommended that I have a rest.
"Nothing has been decided yet and we will look at everything before making a decision.
