This young power forward enjoys his first national team appearance after a very tough career that saw him play for eight professional teams by the age of 23. His three seasons in Italy have helped him to mature and improve a game that has always been skilled but lacked aggressiveness and consistency. Playing in the Lega, Miralles has become a very tough player, able to fight in the low post with heavier players for rebounds; he has outstanding rebounds-per-minute statistics (which are???). In offense, he has not lost his skills, as is still able to put the ball on the floor and drive to the basket or shoot from mid-range. Although he still has to prove he can play a key role in a top team, he can be a nice fit off the bench for the Spanish national team. |
