Spain steamrolled Bulgaria 69-30 with four scorers over 14 points a piece in Group E Qualifying Round action Monday.
Alba Torrens led the way with 16 points while Celia Menendez came off the bench to score 15. Tamara Abalde and reserve Marta Tudanca each added 14.
It was a blow-out from the opening whistle to the final buzzer.
Bulgaria's top scorer, Mihaela Dilova, managed just seven points, and her team only shot 35% from the field.
The Spaniards burned a hole in the net shooting 65% as a group.
Spain got out and hit Bulgaria fast, early and multiple times. After 48 seconds they were up 6-0 and an Alba Torrens lay-up put them ahead by 15 (19-4) with 3:22 on the clock.
Bulgaria was rattled and Spain kept pouring it on seeing the chance to seal the deal in the first ten minutes.
Tamara Abalde's jumper with one second on the clock sent Spain into the second period up by 23 points (29-6).
Spain extended their lead to 33 points on a three pointer by Celia Menendez with 3:23 to go in the half.
Menendez came off the bench to lead her eight other team-mates who scored in the first half with 12 points.
Bulgaria were victims of eleven turnovers in the first twenty minutes and were 29 points down by the halftime buzzer sounded. Haltime didn't change a thing with the Spaniards extending their lead to a maximum of 39 points before it was all said and done.
